John Denver's Autobiography
"Take Me Home"
An Audio Book Recording
In 1994, John Denver wrote his autobiography, "Take Me Home." That same year he released the book on audio, reading a somewhat abridged version himself, while sitting on his deck at Starwwod, outside Aspen, CO. In many instances, John doesn't pull any punches, including
remembrances about himself.
Since this 3-CD set is no longer being sold by Delta Music (LaserLight), this page offers John's fans around the world a chance to hear him tell his own story.
John Denver's fan and friend, Christine Moon from the UK, has emailed that the book has been reprinted in Eng-
land by Headline Book Publishing. The cost is £20 (hard cover) and £9 (paperback) in the UK....$38-$40 and $16-$17, respectively, in the US, depending upon the current exchange rate. The hardcover version sold in the US for $23 in 1994. If you're interested in buying a copy of the book go to the Friends of John Denver, UK Web site.
